The PKM is the modernized, improved version that was adopted into service in 1969 and is still in use today worldwide. The PK variant is one of the most used SAW machine guns in the world, with over a million units produced.
It is rare to find Russian machine guns in the Airsoft world, especially one as high quality as the A&K PKM. This gun features a stamped steel receiver, full metal barrel assembly and a high quality polymer stock as found on the real gun. However, real wood stock and handguard sets can be found as aftermarket upgrade parts if one prefers. The rate of fire can be adjusted and the magazine is automatically feeding ammunition once the trigger is operated.
