The CM16 SR models are available in three different lengths: S, L and XL. All three versions are equipped with a slim handguard, which has the KeyMod system for mounting rails and accessories. Rear sight and front sight are foldable and can also be completely removed by the user if required because they can be screwed on. A new model with a thick rubber cover at the end and a fold-out battery compartment is used for the shaft. It can be adjusted in six stages with one hand and locked in place with a lever. The pistol grip is extremely ergonomic and ensures an optimal grip thanks to the finger recesses and the raised design. Unfortunately, the factory-fitted strap eyelet is only on the left side, which means that the SR models are designed more for right-handers - although the magazine ejection would be on both sides. The special magazine is very handy and can therefore be easily pulled out of a vest pocket and used even in hectic situations. G&G came up with a modern design for the housing, which clearly differs from conventional M4 bodies and thus gives the SR series a very special look.
